Bend Heroes Foundation is organized for the primary purpose of honoring Central Oregon's military veterans, first responders, and other heroes by raising funds to assist them, create memorials, and scholarships for qualifying Heroes.
Currently Bend Heroes Foundation is participating in the national Honor Flight Network program taking WWII veterans to Washington, DC free of charge for a four day trip to visit their National WWII Memorial, White House, Capitol, and 8 other attractions there. Your generous donation of $900 will send a WWII veteran to Washington and pay for their airfares, lodging, meals, bus transportation, distinctive WWII cap, HONOR FLIGHT OF EASTERN OREGON tee shirt, WWII memorial book, and flag flown over the US Capitol. The Foundation is accepting donations in any amount. Donors will receive rewards based on their level of financial support.

Bend Elks to honor "Greatest Generation" of World War 2 Vets Opening Night
On tap for Opening Night is the traditional pomp and circumstance when honoring our troops. Bag Pipes, Full Color Guard, a WW2 Medal of Honor recipient will throw out the first pitch.
Ticket proceeds, a sllent auction and other fund raising efforts on Opening night are intended to help fund the Band of Brothers efforts to transport vets to Washington DC to visit the WW2 Memorial.
